Professor Dr. Muhammad Nasir Saleem is a distinguished clinician, academician, and researcher with over two decades of experience in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics. As the Principal and Head of Department at Rahbar College of Dentistry, he has been instrumental in leading academic excellence, postgraduate supervision, and institutional development.
Prof. Nasir serves as a Supervisor and Examiner for the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), where he has been guiding FCPS trainees and contributing to postgraduate assessments since 2016. He is also a Member of the Faculty of Operative Dentistry & Endodontics, CPSP, and an Examiner for MDS programs across multiple universities.
Previously, he served as Professor and Head of Department at CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry, where he also chaired the Ethical Review Committee and postgraduate mentorship initiatives. His international academic contributions include serving as a Consultant Endodontist at the Armed Forces Hospital, Jubail, Saudi Arabia, and as a Member of the Faculty Promotion Board at King Khalid University, KSA.
Prof. Nasir is a patent holder in the US and Pakistan for an innovative dental device and technique, reflecting his commitment to clinical innovation and applied research. He has authored numerous national and international research publications and has presented his work at global dental conferences. As the former President of the Pakistan Association for Dental Research (PADR)—the Pakistan chapter of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR)—he has actively promoted a culture of scientific inquiry and evidence-based practice in dentistry.
His professional interests include Operative Dentistry, Endodontics, Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry, Curriculum Development, and Postgraduate Research Supervision.
