The Department of Physiology at Rahbar College of Dentistry is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the body’s physiological processes and their relevance to dental health.
Our curriculum integrates fundamental concepts of human physiology with their applications in dentistry, covering topics such as gastrointestinal, neurophysiology, cardiovascular function, and respiratory systems. Prof. Dr. Saima Rizwan
Prof Dr Saima Rizwan, MBBS, M. Phil (Physiology), CMT, Ph. D Scholar is an esteemed educator and researcher in Physiology, currently serving as Head of the Department (HOD) at Rahbar College of Dentistry. With over 14 years of experience, she holds an MBBS from King Edward Medical University (KEMU) and an M.Phil. in Physiology from the University of Health Sciences (UHS). Dr. Saima is a Ph.D. scholar and holds a Certificate in Medical Teaching (CMT). Her work focuses on integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical practice, particularly in the context of medical and dental sciences, and she is dedicated to inspiring students and advancing research in human physiology.
