The Department of Orthodontics at Rahbar College of Dentistry specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities.

Our curriculum provides in-depth training on various orthodontic techniques, including braces, aligners, and corrective appliances. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, and clinical experience, students learn to manage malocclusions and align teeth to improve both function and aesthetics. The department aims to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge necessary to provide comprehensive Orthodontic care and contribute to enhancing patients’ overall dental health and appearance.

Prof. Dr. Farhat Amin
Prof. Dr. Farhat Amin holds multiple qualifications, including FCPS (Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan) in Orthodontics, MCPS (Member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan) in Oral Surgery, and a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from De’ Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore, Pakistan.
Dr Amin is a highly accomplished and renowned orthodontist with years of national and international experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice. She has a proven track record of delivering exceptional education, patient care, and research outputs.
Dr Amin has presented at several national and international conferences. She has demonstrated strong administrative and organizational skills by conducting certificate courses and workshops.
Dr Amin has completed a Certificate Course on Tele health & Tele medicine from UHS (2020), a Certificate in Health Research (CHR) from the University of Lahore (2020-2021), and a Certificate in Medical Teaching (CMT) from the University of Health Sciences Lahore (2021).
Dr. Amin embraces another significant role of being a supervisor/Examiner for postgraduate teaching and training.
Dr. Amin is heading the mentorship program at Rahber College of Dentistry as well.

Dr. Eesha Muneeb
Dr. Eesha Muneeb is a highly qualified orthodontist, holding a BDS degree and an FCPS in Orthodontics. She currently serves as a Senior Registrar in the Department of Orthodontics at Rahbar Medical College. With a strong commitment to providing personalized care, Dr. Muneeb specializes in both functional and aesthetic orthodontic treatments. She is dedicated to advancing her knowledge and expertise while also mentoring junior residents and dental students, contributing to the development of future orthodontic professionals.

Dr. Maira Mubashar
Dr. Maira Mubashar, is deeply involved in clinical teaching and academic activities, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Dr. Mubashar completed her dental education and orthodontic training at Lahore Medical & Dental College (LMDC), where she laid a strong foundation in advanced orthodontic techniques. Her academic excellence was further recognized with the prestigious Allama Iqbal Gold Medal for Best Graduate from the University of Health Sciences, a testament to her exceptional performance throughout her studies.
Her academic career is marked by numerous accolades, including top placements in professional BDS examinations, where she achieved 1st positions in the Second, Third, and Final Professional Examinations at the University of Health Sciences. She has been awarded an impressive total of 24 gold medals and 4 silver medals, reflecting her unparalleled expertise across various disciplines. Her awards span multiple subjects, including Physiology, General Pathology, Science of Dental Materials, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Oral Pathology, and more, underscoring her comprehensive mastery of the dental sciences. Dr. Mubashar’s contributions to Orthodontics and dental education highlight her dedication to advancing the field and fostering excellence in clinical practice and academic scholarship.
