Note:

  1. Hostel air conditioner, refrigerator and water dispenser usage will be charged as per College Policy.
  2. Additional 5% advance income tax will be collected as per Govt policy.
  3. Fee discount will be provided as per PM&DC policy.
  4. Fee of foreign students is net of discount

Scholarship Award Policy

  1. Scholarship Modalities:
  2. Merit-Based Scholarships (1st & 2nd Position Holders):
  • Scholarships amounting to Rs 200,000 (Rupees two hundred thousand only) for 1st position holders and Rs 150,000 (Rupees one hundred and fifty thousand only) for 2nd position holders in the annual university exams will be granted upon application by the students. A total of 8 scholarships will be awarded as follows:
    • 08 for BDS – 1st to 4th year (2 students per class).
  1. Need-Based Financial Assistance:
  • Financial assistance of Rs 125,000 (Rupees one hundred and twenty-five thousand only) will be granted to students based on financial need. A total of 3 scholarships will be awarded as follows:
    • 03 for BDS – 2nd to 4th year (1 student per class).

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Unexpected Financial Hardship:

Sudden loss of family income due to unemployment, disability, or death of the primary wage earner.

Major medical expenses for the student or immediate family members.

Natural disasters or other catastrophic events that impact the family’s financial stability.

  1. Income Threshold:

The family’s total annual income, after the occurrence of the financial problem, should not exceed Rs 12,00,000.

  1. Academic Standing:

The student must be in good academic standing, maintaining a minimum percentage as specified by the institution’s academic policies

 

  1. 25% waiver on Tuition Fee

It is mandatory for the institution to grant a 25% waiver on tuition fees to 5% of the enrolled students each academic year. This policy is intended to support students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, financial need, or other qualifying criteria as determined by the institution. The fee waiver is applicable for one academic year and may be renewed subject to the student’s continued eligibility. Recipients must maintain the academic and conduct standards of the institution to retain the fee waiver. The fee waiver covers tuition fees only and does not include other expenses such as books, supplies, or living costs.

 

Application Review:

  • All applications for 1a,1b and 1c will be reviewed by a board of officers consisting of the following members:
    • Deputy Chief Executive / Vice President
    • Vice President Academics
    • Assistant Director Administration
    • Assistant Director of Medical Education
  1. Application Submission:
  • Needy students must submit a written application for need-based financial assistance addressed to the Chief Executive / Principal, along with the required documents to assess financial background and academic performance.
  1. Approval Process:
  • All duly scrutinized applications, along with the board’s recommendations, will be forwarded to the Chief Executive / Principal for countersignature.

 

 

Policy on Clinical Work, Procedures, and Material Costs During Training and Studentship

Purpose:

To ensure that students engaged in clinical work, procedures, and training do not incur any costs for materials or procedures required during their education and training.

Scope:

This policy applies to all students enrolled in clinical training programs and those participating in any clinical procedures or training activities.

Policy Statement

  1. Clinical Work and Procedures
  • All clinical work and procedures performed by students as part of their training and education will be conducted under the supervision of qualified professionals.
  • Students will not be charged for any clinical work or procedures they perform or participate in during their training.
  1. Material Costs
  • The cost of materials and supplies required for clinical training and procedures will be covered by the institution.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, medical supplies, dental materials, laboratory reagents, and any other consumables necessary for educational purposes. However, if a student has to perform some additional practice, then he/she should bring the materials at his own expenses. This means that any additional tools, equipment, or consumables needed for extra practice beyond what is provided by the school must be purchased by the students at their own expense.
  1. Financial Responsibility
  • The institution is responsible for budgeting and allocating funds to ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available for student use without additional cost.
  • Any incidental or unexpected costs associated with clinical training will be absorbed by the institution to maintain a cost-free learning environment for students.
  1. Student Obligations
  • Students are expected to use materials and supplies responsibly and in accordance with training protocols and guidelines.
  • Any misuse or waste of materials may be subject to review and potential disciplinary action.
  1. Implementation and Monitoring
  • The administration will oversee the implementation of this policy and ensure that all departments and programs comply with its terms.
  • Clinical audits and reviews will be conducted to monitor adherence to the policy and address any issues promptly.
  1. Support and Resources
  • Students are encouraged to report any concerns or discrepancies related to the costs of clinical work and materials to their program director or designated institutional representative.
