• Recognize basic image findings and maintain regulatory compliance.

• Program evaluation for Dental Surgery Assistants (DSAs) are conducted through structured feedback Proformas after trainning sessions. In addition, continuous feedback from supervising dentists, faculty, and clinical staff provides valuable insights into the DSA’s performance on DSA evaluation proforma is recorded on daily basis.
• This feedback, both formative and summative, allows for timely identification of strengths and areas needing improvement.
• Periodic WPBAs such as Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS), and Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercises (Mini-CEX) are utlized after 3 months to offer real-time, contextual assessment of the assistant’s skills in actual clinical settings.
